Starting situation
Raphael started training with us in January 2025. He came to us with very persistent disc problems and a fragile lumbar spine and was determined to improve his general fitness.
Successes & progress
Raphael has made considerable progress on various levels thanks to the training. His abdominal girth has improved significantly in just two months. His sleep and general well-being are also the way he always wanted them to be. What’s more, his back is much more stable and able to take the strain.
It is also astonishing that we were able to achieve this progress even though a partial tear in his right meniscus was discovered shortly after he started training. This shows once again that an individual training approach with exercises specifically designed for the complaints can have an incredibly positive impact.
Training strategy
During training, we focused on exercises for the core muscles and on building up the muscles in the upper body. This enabled us to create the necessary stability in the back.
Raphael’s job as a managing director mainly involves sitting, which is why we also incorporated stretching and mobility exercises into the training.
In addition, Raphael performed a short exercise routine every morning on his own, which supported the goals of weight loss and stability.
As he travels a lot at weekends, he also did a short workout with dumbbells on these days to consolidate his progress.
